1. What is Social Networking? Give examples of social networking sites
ReplyDeleteSocial networking is a way to communicate with certain individuals such as family, friends and colleagues or with everyone in public. Some networking sites include google+, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr.
2. Which social networking sites are you using and specify how many connections you have on each of these sites. How regular do you post items on each site?
I use Facebook, Instagram and google+ and have an average amount of followers/friends. I post up photos/statuses……maybe once a month.
3. List five benefits of social networking
Communicating over long distances. Communicating with others, able to express yourself, rewards (promotions) and make money through selling or sharing information.

Strangers are able to view your profiles. People are able to stalk you online, if you post something online it will always stay up on the internet, you can get scammed and you’re prone to cyber-bullying.

You can share ideas or you can sell websites or profiles to people for a certain amount of money.
Social networking is a form of communication to contact family, friends, and colleagues and people in general on a social platform. Social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and others have influenced people over time to get socially connected.
ReplyDeleteI am currently using Facebook and Google+ both sites I have a certain amount of followers and myself I do not make many updates, statuses but to view other peoples updates and posts and keep up with everything going on in the social networking world.
5 benefits toward social networking can be, you can communicate with whomever whenever around the world with instant messaging.
Another is keeping and knowing what others in the world are up to, such as friends, family, co-workers etc…
You can sell products and items via social networking and make money by doing so.
If you have popularity or a lot of followers on your social networking sites you can get paid money for making an update ‘status’ the more followers (popularity) the more money you make.
You can support and sell products for businesses via social networking.
If you have contacts on your social networking that can make you money, you can approach them and ask for support and help to promote your small business or product.
